Back again for another year, Philadelphia Weekly presents their “Concerts in the Park” series every Wednesday night in Rittenhouse Square (18th & Walnut St) from August 13 to September 3.
This week features local “it” boys, Dr. Dog. With the new album, “Fate,” just released on July 22, the quintet has been moving up on music charts and gaining airplay nationwide.
“Fate” is their most complex recording to date. The composition and togetherness of the band completely trumps their earliest Beach Boy covers and demos. Creating a unique sound of their own, Philadelphia should be proud to be the motherland of Dr. Dog.
The weather forecast for Wednesday is looking glorious, so head down to the park with some friends to catch Dr. Dog as they perform their newest material to their hometown…for FREE!
