Projected leads in the Election, Watch Party ongoing

The first polls closed at 6 p.m. ET today in Indiana, Kentucky and North Hampshire, and at 7 p.m. ET in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Vermont and Virginia. According to the New York Times, McCain has eight electoral votes so far and Obama has three. The Times has charted a win for McCain in Kentucky and in Vermont for Obama. Pennsylvania polls close at 8 p.m.
Drexel Votes will host an Election Watch Party starting at 8 p.m. in the Great Court, Main Building.
The event will go on until all votes are counted and America’s next president is chosen. There will be great food, games and good conversation along with a big-screen television tuned into the election coverage.
