CNN has projected Obama as the election winner. The New York Times has predicted a 333-155 win in electoral votes for Obama, as well as wins in states including California, Washington and Oregon. McCain conceded the race at a rally in Phoenix, Az. around 11:15 p.m. E.T. and urged his supporters to join him in congratulating Obama on the win. According to cnn.com, Obama will speak from Chicago, Ill. later tonight. Obama is projected to win in Virginia, which hasn’t voted for a Democratic candidate since 1964, and Ohio, considered to be a must-win state for McCain, according to cnn.com.
